78th Street pedestrian bridge over FDR - NOW OPEN!

Ferreira Construction Co. of Branchburg cut the ribbon today to open the 78th street pedestrian bridge. Local neighbors came out in droves to celebrate the bridge's unveiling.
Work To Start On $8.7 Billion NY-NJ Tunnel Project

Ferreira Construction Co. of Branchburg received the first construction contract in May to build a $13.6 railroad underpass at Tonnelle Avenue in North Bergen, near the site of Monday s ceremony. The area will serve as the New Jersey mouth of the tunnel. Newark-based CM Consortium was selected in April to oversee tunnel construction, including design evaluation, quality control and construction schedule review.

Nevius Street Bridge reopened
