| Project Type: Road and Bridge Location: Franklin Twp., NJ Amount: $3.2 million Agency / Client: County of Somerset Project Description: The Millstone river bridge is 850 ft long x 40 ft wide bridge that runs over the Millstone river and a wetland area. This project required the removal of the existing concrete deck and fascia beams from outside bays. Access was a major problem so FCC used the remaining existing deck to cast new outside beams and then constructed new concrete deck on top of the old deck. Extensive rehab work was done to the existing substructure. This project was completed in 3 months. This project won various historical preservation awards. Year of Completion: 1999 |
