Project Description: Project included the widening and reconstruction of 2.7 miles of roadway. The existing bridge was demolished and a new span 396 feet in length was constructed over the Raritan River. Demolition and construction was accomplished while maintaining traffic lanes. Demolition and construction of a new railroad bridge was completed while maintaining 2 active tracks. Ancillary work included intersection improvements, drainage and curb and sidewalk construction.
