Project Description: The project was Phase II of a larger project which eventually will include Public Works Facilities for the County of Somerset, Bound Brook Borough and Bridgewater Township. Ferreira completed the first building that now houses the Bound Brook Borough Department of Public Works. The overall project included site work and construction of a 24,440 SF garage/office building consisting of approximately 4,500 SF of office/administration space. The building was a pre-engineered building with standing seam roofs and masonry walls. The project was designed and constructed under the LEED Certification program, including high efficiency heating and ventilation systems and monitoring software.
