The Ferreira Construction safety motto is Think Safety, Think Family and it is our belief at Ferreira Construction that every employee is responsible for safety. We offer safety training courses throughout the year to all of our employees.

Our Safety Department is spearheaded by our Safety Director and supported by a team of safety professionals and our onsite Superintendents. Our Safety Director performs random site inspections and prepares written reports documenting both positive observations and any issues that need to be addressed with a corrective action plan. Ferreira employs a safety consultant to perform job site inspections and ensure that we remain current with changes in OSHA regulations.In addition, Ferreira has a working relationship with our insurance company representatives and welcomes their comments and suggestions from their periodic site inspections.

All of Ferreira's crews begin the work day with a safety huddle to discuss the specific hazards associated with the day's tasks. Equipment is inspected daily by the assigned operator. Ferreira implemented a safety incentive program in 2008 that provides individual employees with a quarterly reward for working safely.
